On the condo side you are often shopping within buildings, where units share a floor plan and a set of documents, and the questions you ask repeat from one listing to the next. Permits and setbacks still apply, but nobody down the street gets a vote on the color you paint the siding or the addition you put over the garage. That is the real trade on the attached side of Issaquah: you hold the interior, and the roof, the siding, the grounds and the parking are handled through a fee rather than through your weekends.
